Wild West Cowboys

We’re a country band and everybody knows
that we’ve had our ups and downs.
We played our gigs in Hamburg,
Long ‘fore the rodeo hit town.

They just were talking low, said: "Man, hey what’s your show?"
Take a break and have a beer.
We’re not in Wild West Country,
You know there ain’t no cowboys here.

REFRAIN:
The Wild West Country Cowboys taking over Hamburg man,
Out of a studio in Maschen, near to the Autobahn.
With a fiddle, banjo, steel guitar we’re tearing up the town.
The cowboys out of Hamburg town, they’re international bound.

If you’re from Munich, friend, or live in Hamburg, pal,
You’re welcome, come on, mousy Ann.
It’s heaven here when we play honky-tonk,
No matter where you’ve been.

We got our cowboy boots and we got homesick blues,
And we’ve got heartbreaks by the score.
And the temperature is rising,
And you’ll be screaming out for more.
